Hi, I'm Larry Tsao. I currently work as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Behr, where I focus on streamlining onboarding processes, managing data integrity, and improving operational efficiency. Before this, I graduated from UC Riverside with a degree in Sociology and worked there as an HR Operations Assistant, supporting campus hiring and personnel management.
My passion lies where art, music, and technology intersect. I serve as the Lighting Director for Stream of Praise (讚美之泉), creating immersive visual experiences through lighting for their live productions and music videos. I serve as an audio engineer at Beloved Church, mixing live services with a focus on mixing sound that facilitates heartfelt worship and supports the atmosphere. In the studio, I'm exploring the art of mixing and mastering worship recordings, translating live moments into polished tracks that capture the spirit of worship. I'm also passionate about capturing worship visually, combining creative storytelling and technical skill as a camera operator and broadcast operator for Beloved's Sunday livestream.
When I'm not working or designing, I enjoy building custom PCs, exploring sci-fi and fantasy books, playing bass, gaming, and working on personal tech projects. Some of my most recent projects include setting up a Hackintosh desktop and running a LLM (Large Language Model) locally, and working on this very website you're on!

My biggest ongoing project is serving as the Show Designer and Lighting Director for Stream of Praise, one of the largest Mandarin-Chinese Christian music ministries. In this role, I design and execute immersive visual experiences for both live and recorded productions. I create dynamic lighting environments that envelop the congregation in the atmosphere of worship, highlighting moments of awe and fostering a space that invites deeper connection and reflection.
I have the privilege of serving as the sound engineer during Sunday services at Beloved Church, working alongside a talented and passionate team whose dedication to pure worship sets the tone for the congregation. Behind the console, I translate their energy into mixes that are clear, distraction-free, and spiritually engaging, helping to create a cohesive and immersive worship environment. Beyond live services, I work on mixing and mastering worship recordings in Logic Pro; digging into how professionals use their tools and techniques to shape clarity, balance, and dynamics as I continue developing my own skills.
Photography is a passion I’ve recently developed, inspired by the beautiful moments I've seen others capture on social media. On my latest trips to Japan, I’ve been challenging myself to capture aesthetic, story-driven photos.
